How does the Medication Management Review work?

It’s simple. If a patient requires a Medication Review, they can be referred to the Teladoc virtual Medication Management Review service. Once referred, Teladoc will obtain the patient’s consent, organise the collection of the patient’s medical records, and coordinate a virtual consultation between the patient, our Accredited Pharmacist and the referring clinician, as well as any family members, caregivers or other support personnel for the patient to complete a comprehensive review of the treatment or medication adherence

We can also provide support by answering any questions and ensuring you have confidence, clarity, and certainty in your next steps for the patient.

What reassurance does Teladoc Health provide regarding a patient’s privacy?

Teladoc Health will only share information regarding how many members have used the service. Teladoc Health will not share the details of the report or the nature of your enquiry with your insurer or employer.

Are there any restrictions on the number of times a patient can use this service?

No. This service is unlimited. It can be used as many times as patients need. We also want to ensure that all your questions are answered. So even if you or the patient think of any questions after you receiving the report, please call us.
